On a beautiful Saturday in early May, I was fortunate to photograph Amanda and Matthew getting married at their family church. Amanda’s ladies wore deep purple and carried huge bouquets of white hydrangeas and pink roses. Matthew’s groomsmen sported formal tuxedoes and matching purple vests. Music for the formal ceremony was performed by a classically-trained pianist. I took formal photographs on the altar of the church and then intimate couples photography in the churchyard, beneath magnificent old oak trees. The subsequent casual reception was held in a banquet hall. A live band got everyone on the dance floor, and a rowdy party to celebrate their nuptials ensued! The couple chose a naked cake adorned with fresh berries. A live band got everyone on the dance floor, and a rowdy party to celebrate their nuptials ensued!
